UGA Choral Project presents Vida, a concert celebrating life and living with music from composers like Stephen Paulus and Ysaÿe Barnwell. Paulus wrote over 400 works for chorus and was a recipient of both NEA and Guggenheim Fellowships. Barnwell was a member of the African American a cappella ensemble “Sweet Honey in the Rock” from 1979 to 2013 for which she arranged a considerable amount of music.

Graduate Conductor Erika Tazawa conducts the UGA University Chorus and orchestra singing Michael Haydn’s Requiem.

UGA Men’s and Women’s Glee Clubs perform songs of light and love, conducted by Sarah Frook Gallo.

The UGA Choral Project presents a concert featuring Vaughan Williams’ Serenade to Music with piano and solo violin. Made up of 18 singers, the UGA Choral Project seeks to emulate the project-based professional choir experience for UGA’s singers. The week-long rehearsal cycle culminates in a performance on Friday, January 13, 2023. Pianist, Jieun Lee and violinist, Cristóbal Provoste Saavedre.
