UGA Choral Project: Vida

UGA Choral Project presents Vida, a concert celebrating life and living with music from composers like Stephen Paulus and Ysaÿe Barnwell. Paulus wrote over 400 works for chorus and was a recipient of both NEA and Guggenheim Fellowships. Barnwell was a member of the African American a cappella ensemble “Sweet Honey in the Rock” from 1979 to 2013 for which she arranged a considerable amount of music.

Connections Series: "Serenade to Music" - UGA Choral Project

The UGA Choral Project presents a concert featuring Vaughan Williams’ Serenade to Music with piano and solo violin. Made up of 18 singers, the UGA Choral Project seeks to emulate the project-based professional choir experience for UGA’s singers. The week-long rehearsal cycle culminates in a performance on Friday, January 13, 2023. Pianist, Jieun Lee and violinist, Cristóbal Provoste Saavedre.
